This policy explains what Alia Mohammed Trading Co LLC (“Royal Chef”, “we”, “us”) does with information collected through this website.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject line, and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site working and secure.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Both set cookies and share data with Google and Meta respectively, who process it under their own privacy policies and may transfer it outside the UAE.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Blocking cookies in your browser also stops both.
Cookies
We set cookies for the analytics and advertising tools above. WordPress may also set a functional cookie if you log in. We do not sell cookie data.
When you leave for Amazon
Our products are sold through our own Amazon storefront. When you click through to Amazon you leave this website, and Amazon’s privacy policy and terms then apply to everything you do there — including your order, payment, and delivery. We never receive your payment details.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this site — our hosting provider, our email provider, and the analytics and advertising platforms named above — and where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the settings held in Google Analytics and Meta.
Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. Write to us at eim@aliamohd.com and we will respond within the period the law allows.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the bottom of this page.
